Project survey
GEMINUS is one of several projects of the European Commission that functions as preparatory work for the European satellite-based Global Positioning System GALILEO. The project was managed by a European consortium under the lead of RACAL AVIONICS. In the framework of a sub-project, the demands to GALILEO arising out from the sectors inland navigation and intermodal transport chains were analysed.
