Together with several business enterprises, via donau is also developing new inland waterway transport services on the Danube, with the aim of integrating navigation even more strongly into intermodal logistics chains in the future.

For this purpose, we need to analyse potentials and gather knowledge on different sectors of the industry and types of goods. The creation of basic knowledge for the establishment of container liner services on the Danube is only one example of our activities in this area.

Further transport development tasks include assisting ports in the realisation of their extension plans, the construction of new facilities or the expansion of their services. In the past few years, numerous projects in different areas have already been implemented in cooperation with business companies.
