The Inland Navigation eLearning System (INeS) is a web-based learning platform focusing on intermodal inland waterway transport. Abandoning traditional teaching and learning methods, the platform applies innovative information and communication tools while integrating accepted didactic measures all the same. This platform constitutes the first state-of-the-art educational solution in the field of inland waterway transport and is accessible free of charge at www.ines.info.

INeS was developed as part of the eWIT project, co-financed with funds from the European Commission's Marco Polo Programme and co-ordinated by via donau.
